Compare 1B row 8 seat 9, 2B row 9 seat 8 and 3B row 1 seat 8: a closer central view, a rear row beneath an upper tier and a high front row by a rail.

How to read this example
From 1B row 8, inspect actor size and the stage floor together. At 2B row 9, check the level 3 underside entering the upper view. Seeing the central actor does not establish visibility of upper scenery or raised equipment. Read structural view limits separately from mean obstruction.
At 3B row 1, inspect the front rail and downward angle. This sample is closer to the stage focus than the rear level 2 sample; a higher level is not automatically farther away. Compare actor size, floor and upper stage separately with the rear level 2 sample. A/B/C repeat on each level and numbering is per block, so “B seat 8” is incomplete. Match level, section, row and number in the official Grand Theater guide; do not use the Black Theater or small-theatre plan.

Verification record
On 23 October 2026, the official guide listed 1,253 seats: level 1 has 683 plus 6 wheelchair spaces, level 2 has 277 plus 7, and level 3 has 280. The existing model uses post-2025-refit numbers and the recorded comparison with 29 official view photographs on 7 October. This explains that record and recomputes the samples; it is not a new visit.
Model limitations
Side-seat positions, seat width, side angles, pit width and auditorium walls retain estimates. Unsold H seats by F.O.H and model-assigned wheelchair labels must not be treated as ordinary ticket addresses. Pre-refit reviews can use different numbers. The organiser’s set, pit and sales notices take precedence.
